Start Here
We live and play in one of the most beautiful parts of the country....East Tennessee. There is really a lot to do here and we want to share with you a little about some of the more interesting places and events in our little corner of the world. Located just off I-40 exit 407 (south on Route 66) are three communities you have to visit. The northern town is Sevierville, with outlet malls everywhere, several dinner theaters and good RV parks. The southern-most town is Gatlinburg, offering Ober Gatlinburg, fine restaurants and more shopping. This very cute and friendly town is a gateway to the park. Between these two towns you will find Pigeon Forge offering Dollywood, more theaters and The Christmas Place ( gotta be the biggest Christmas store in the world). So, this section of the forum will give you a taste of what is waiting for you if we can convince you to "come on down". Nope, we do not work for the Chamber of Commerce. Maybe we should. Anyway, keep an eye on this forum topic as we build it. Feel free to put your own two cents worth in here if you want. Maybe you have already visited here and other readers may want to see what you have to say. Bear with us and check back often. This is going to take some time to do but we'll move as fast as we can. Local Festivals and Events
Folks that live in East Tennessee love their Blue Grass music. We have some of the finest musicians in the country living right here. So we will post a few of the local events and music festivals that may be of interest to you if you like and appreciate Blue Grass. There are far more events, fairs and festivals than are listed here. This is a sample of the more popular events.
