LABORATORY TEST DATA FOR THE RVF-1 WATER FILTER SYSTEM
The following pages show the results of lab testing of the RVF-1 water filter system. The test parameters were established to determine the removal rate for specific water contaminates. As will be seen, the system performed exceptionally well. It was not the intent of our test program to determine removal effectivity for all known water contaminates. There are over 3,000 contaminates that may be in our water and the list is growing by the day. After reviewing and discussing contaminate issues with the manufacturers, we selected for testing those contaminates that are of high concern and would suggest removal of other contaminates based on size. For instance, if the system can capture small pathogenic particles such as bacteria (average size of around one micron or less) the system would trap larger particles such as Giardia and Legionella which normally measures three to five microns. Further, if the filter system demonstrated a high level of lead removal, it would suggest equally high removal of other known metal contaminates.
